“A great little festival. We found that this festival was right in our audience niche. We immediately got invited to screen our film in Pittsburgh within a few days of showing at NUFF. Hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Best part: the screening was in West Hollywood, so we literally got to have a Hollywood premiere for our film. Such fun.”

“We held our Los Angeles Premiere at the New Urbanism Film Festival. Josh, Joel and team were amazing and made us feel welcome. We had the opportunity to talk face to face with a lot of the filmmakers that were also showing films. Because this is our first feature film, it was a great opportunity to build a community of like-minded filmmakers from all around the world. I definitely recommend this film festival for new filmmakers with a New Urbanism slant!”

“Such a supportive festival for filmmakers! Thanks guys!”

“Make no mistake about it: the New Urban Film Festival is a diamond in the NUFF! Festival Director Josh Paget is a social media juggernaut, keeping interest high; the mood is always energized.
Getting accepted into the fest has great value, and there’s even more if you merit as much as an Honorable Mention (as we did in 2015 for “Landfill”). Your work gets screened in prominent cities (including LA, Santa Monica, Detroit, & Vancouver), and heavily promoted by the organization.
Writer/performer Rocco Giuliano & I were again thrilled to be accepted into the 2016 NUFF for our short Boston doco, “Exile On A Street.” We didn’t win this time, but as the Red Sox would say, “Wait Till Next Year!”
Thanks to Josh & everyone on the NUFF team for a fantastic festival experience!

– Henry Dane, Director, “Landfill” & “Exile On A Street”
