What’s the Worst: Building in Los Angeles?

Los Angeles is home to lots of great architecture, but it also has plenty of bad buildings too.  It’s time to learn from our mistakes by playing… “What’s the Worst Building in Los Angeles?”  The live comedy game show with comedians roasting some of the worst buildings in Los Angeles. Winners will be determined by a panel of judges:

Alex Mesrobian

alex-mAlex Mesrobian is a writer, stand-up comic and performer who resides in his birthplace, Los Angeles, CA. He has performed at colleges as well as several venues and festivals including the Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, Ice House, Steve Allen Theater, Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, Laugh Track Comedy Festival, among others. He is currently a writer for the Emmy award-winning animation studio, Klasky Csupo Inc.

Eric Hahn

hahnEric Hahn is a stand up comic, writer, actor and producer living in Los Angeles. Eric is in his 7th year as a comic and recently completed a three state comedy tour on the east coast. Eric created a popular web series on Youtube called ‘Brick and Sizzle’ and runs a successful standup show every Friday at a Silverlake venue called ‘Malo.’  Eric thinks Faux New Urbanist Mega Block Apartment Buildings are the Worst!

Hana Michels

She is currently working on a magazine for The Devastator and a show for JASH.  Hana is freelance writer for Funny or Die and is a regular contributor to their Pitch app. Hana will be arguing that McMansions are the worst!

Jeff Ahern

jeffahernJeff Ahern has written for The Tonight Show and Us Weekly’s Fashion Police.  Currently Jeff works as a warm-up comic in Los Angeles for some of the hottest shows on television.   Jeff’s career has taken off now that he performs as The Most Evil Man In The Word, Sylus Rothchild. Part sociopath, part commentary on the world we live in today.  But most importantly, all funny.  Catch Sylus Rothchild as he tries to crush his enemies and make you laugh at the same time.  Jeff will be arguing that the Da Vinci apartments are the worst.

Jodi Miller

kmc_7566Jodi Miller has appeared on Gotham Live and America’s Got Talent. She has also done several USO tours to entertain the troops.  Her latest comedy album “No Child Left Behind” is available on iTunes.  Jodi will be arguing that the Zumthor redesign of LACMA is the worst.

John Vargas

_mg_3816-rt-rsJohn Vargas’ acerbic, biting comedy has earned him featured spots  at Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival and The California Comedy Festival. He has also opened for such comedic dignitaries as Dana Gould, Marc Maron, and Greg Fitzsimmons. His TV appearances include the Comedy Central’s Mash Up and Hidden America with Jonah Ray. Oh, and once he got arrested live on TV, the footage was featured on Larry King Live. John thinks the worst building is the brazen Bel Air water wasters.

Matt Champagne

holmes-collection-1Matt Champagne is an actor and comedian who’s been on shows like “Rizzoli and Isles” and Nickelodeon’s “School Of Rock.”  He’s done a ton of commercials and enjoys sarcasm.

Kirk Zipfel

img_6260Kirk Zipfel has worked with everyone from Larry David to Lorenzo Lamas. He’s appeared on Jimmy Kimmel,Punk’d, Last Comic Standing, Kickin’ It, and Fox’s On the Lot. Kirk has hosted interviews with stars like Natalie Portman and Steve Carrell, he’s appeared in more national commercials than he can remember, he also starred in the hilarious web series Man-Teen. He’s looking forward to performing in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer.
