We are entirely pleased to announce that this year we will be offering award-winners custom designed award trophies. These awards are made by local artists using upcycled bike parts and reclaimed wood.
The artists creating the awards are “Shoulda Wooda Coulda.” The awards will be on display throughout the festival. So stop by and check them out!
The bike parts were donated by La Brea Bike Works. If you bike to the fest and need a repair, tune up, or extra accessories, La Brea Bike Works is your best and closest bet. Find them using our Neighborhood Guide.
This artisan crafted awards project were made possible, in part, by the Los Angeles Film Studies Center. LAFSC is in the neighborhood, located just around the corner from the fest on Wilshire & Cochran. LAFSC is a semester long film program based in Los Angeles. They have an illustrious list of alumni, including Josh Paget co-founder of NUFF. Check out LAFSC’s standing sets, if you need to shoot in a bar, hospital room, or jail cell.
